This double-eye leaf spring is constructed of high-quality steel leaves bolted and banded tightly together at an arch. Double-eye suspension systems have more moving parts as compared to other style leaf spring setups, giving it a much smoother ride. Measure springs from the center of one eye to the center of the other. When measuring old springs it is important to know that after a long time used springs may become 'stretched' or 'flattened' due to the constant flex of the ride. Measurements of your old spring compared to a new one may vary.
