Harvested from hives kept right in the heart of the city, this honey is proof that bees thrive even in an urban environment. When people say to buy honey directly from a beekeeper, that’s us. This honey is produced by our bees in Downtown Birmingham and nearby city neighborhoods. Each jar is raw and unfiltered, meaning it keeps all of the enzymes, pollen, and natural qualities that make honey remarkable. Unlike “Grade A” grocery store honey, which is ultra-filtered and stripped of its pollen, our honey contains 100% of its natural pollen content.
Because it retains its natural state, this honey will crystallize faster than standard processed honey—a hallmark of purity. From the first taste, you’ll notice its distinct floral flavor, which comes directly from the nectar of local flowers.
