Glossary Aqua (water): water in Latin, is the word used in the INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) to label this vital element. Water is primarily used in practically all cosmetics and personal care products to dissolve many of the ingredients that impart skin benefits known as actives. It also forms emulsions where the oil and water components of the formula are combined to produce creams and lotions. These are referred to as oil-in-water emulsions, or as water-in-oil depending on the ratios of the oil and water phases. Gluconolactone: is a naturally-derived, usually produced by microorganism oxidation of glucose, vegan friendly (non-GMO) preservative with broad spectrum protection that improves skin´s moisture content and has an exceptional low toxicity profile, long history of use, is non-sensitizing and non-irritating. This polyhydroxy acid also provides antioxidant, anti-aging, antibacterial, chelating, deodorizing, skin-conditioning and sun-protective benefits. Aloe barbadensis leaf juice freeze-dried powder: has the ability to effectively penetrate and transport healthy substances through the skin. Aloe Vera provides numerous cutaneous skin benefits such as acting as an excellent moisturizer, keeping the skin flexible and supplying oxygen to cells, as well as increasing the strength and synthesis of skin tissue, thus preventing premature aging. Rich in mucopolysaccharides (naturally occurring sugars that keep the skin moist and plump), minerals, amino acids and enzymes, aloe has renowned soothing, anti-inflammatory and healing properties, making it suitable for cuts, grazes, insect bites, sunburn, acne, dermatitis, sensitive and irritated skin. Pinus nigra bud/needle extract: provides prebiotic benefits that help mitigate P.acnes bacteria proliferation and combat the aging process. Contains methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) which detoxifies the skin and stimulates its regeneration. Ribes nigrum (black currant) fruit extract: chock-full of antioxidants, such as tannins and anthocyanins, that help reduce aging signs and prevent bacterial growth. Black currants have potent anti-inflammatory benefits as well as soften and nourish the skin. Camellia sinensis leaf oil : packed with omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E; has similar properties to flax seed oil but it is much more stable. Camelina oil nourishes, improves skin elasticity, repairs damaged tissue, has inflammatory properties (thus making it beneficial for psoriasis, eczema, etc.) and provides a protective coating for hair follicles. Sodium hydroxypropylsulfonate laurylglucosides: a globally approved product that is certified by the Natural Products Association and 100% carbon bio-based. It is extremely mild when tested against other traditional primary personal surfactants such as sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium coco sulphate, sodium lauryl ether sulfate and alpha olefin sulfonate. It is suitable for all skin types including sensitive; derived from non-GMO coconut and corn sugars. Vaccinium myrtillus (bilberry) fruit extract: contains vitamin C, resveratrol and bioflavonoids such as anthocyanins, quercitin and ellagic acid. Bilberries aid in the treatment of skin infections, ulcers, bruises and varicose veins. Their potent antioxidants protect the skin from the degenerative effects of free radicals as well as prevent the breakdown of collagen. They condition the skin and increase microcirculation including that of the eye area, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Salix alba (white willow) bark extract: a natural source of salicylic acid (salicin), a BHA with keratolytic, astringent and regenerative properties. It benefits acne-prone skin due to its pore-clearing, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial nature. It also contains antioxidants (phenolic acids) which aid in skin rejuvenation. Spiraea ulmaria (meadowsweet) flower extract: has similar properties to slippery elm and willow bark due to its salicylic acid content. High in vitamin C and flavonoids, provides effective astringent, anti-inflammatory, cleansing, toning, tightening and soothing benefits. Xanthan gum: produced by bacteria through fermentation of non-GMO corn. This polyssacharide is used in food and cosmetic products as a thickener and stabilizer. Chosen for its natural and GMO-free source as we do not use acrylic (petrochemical sourced) thickeners or part synthetic. Xantham gums provides stability to gels and emulsions. Saccharum officinarum (sugar cane) extract: its natural glycolic acid concentration helps the epidermis shed dead skin cells easier and thereby prevent a build-up on its surface. This extract, furthermore, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin of the skin, which results in improved skin texture and smoothness. Levulinic acid: classified in EU under skin conditioning and perfuming, but also having strong antimicrobial properties. Produced through the modification of non-GMO corn sugars with heat and acid. It is an effective, non-toxic and non-sensitizing preservative. It has no cosmetic restrictions placed on it and is permitted to use in organic formulations by organic certification bodies. Citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract: rejuvenates the skin due to the action of its AHAs content. A concentrated source of vitamin C and flavonoids; orange nourishes, enriches and improves the skin’s elasticity while encouraging cellular activity and new cell growth. It helps reduce swollen tissue and stimulates the lymph system. Orange helps heal dry/irritated skin and it is extremely useful in treating broken capillaries and mild varicose veins (astringent). It has antiseptic and bactericide properties, therefore improving acne-prone skin. Citrus limon (lemon) fruit extract: tones and refreshes the skin, contains high levels of Vitamin C and AHAs which brighten the complexion. It has antibacterial, astringent and cell- regenerative properties. Lemon also helps heal dry, rough and chapped skin. Sodium levulinate: it is the sodium salt of levulinic acid, thus has similar properties. It is used as a EU approved preservative (inhibits microbial proliferation) and skin conditioning agent. It is derived from non GMO-corn. Acer saccharum (sugar maple) extract: like all sugars, it is an extraordinary humectant. Rich in trace minerals and zinc which balance oil production. It contains AHAs in their whole food format and antioxidants that keep premature aging at bay by exfoliating surface build-up as well as neutralizing the effect of environmental aggressors. Potassium sorbate: this is the potassium salt of sorbic acid. Our primary concern is the health and safety of those using our products. With that in mind, we must balance producing the most natural/organic product with producing a microbially safe and stable product. While sorbic acid is found in nature, it’s not yet produced from a plant source. For this reason it has been necessary in some of the products to add a synthetic antimicrobial. It’s a man-made preservative allowed in both food and cosmetics and permitted by organic certification bodies in cosmetics. Citric acid: an alpha hydroxy acid found naturally in citrus fruits. Used in our products at very low levels to regulate acidity to match the natural pH of the skin. Permitted food ingredient and by organic certification agencies; it is produced through bacterial fermentation of sugar. Sodium benzoate: is a synthetic preservative approved for use worldwide and is included on the European Union Cosmetics Directive “Positive List” (Europe has banned more than 1,200 ingredients due to safety concerns). It has also been approved by the Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare in both rinse-off and leave-in applications. Japan, like Europe, abide by the most stringent criteria in the world concerning what ingredients can be used in personal care products to also keep the product itself free from harmful contamination. Europe´s comform level with the safety data associated with this permitted preservative is clearly reassuring. Reviews Faith Adams  I personally don’t have problem skin, but heard this was great for anyone using anti aging products because it acts like a prep where it gets the skin ready for ingredients that need to penetrate deeply to be effective. It’s like a gel you massage into your skin, and then rinse off. I follow with a thin layer of the Super Antioxidant Serum and definitely see the difference in how much brighter and clearer my skin looks. Faith Adams, Van Nuys Roxy B–  I don’t have skin problems. I use this to give my skin a deep clean after removing makeup. It works really well and leaves my complexion feeling smooth. It also helps my other skincare products penetrate better. Glossary Aqua (water): water in Latin, is the word used in the INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) to label this vital element. Water is primarily used in practically all cosmetics and personal care products to dissolve (solvent) many of the ingredients that impart skin benefits known as actives. It also forms emulsions where the oil and water components of the formula are combined to produce creams and lotions. These are referred to as oil-in-water emulsions or as water-in-oil depending on the ratios of the oil and water phases. We use reverse osmosis water to rehydrate our freeze-dried organic aloe leaf juice powder. Glycerin: or glycerol, is released when an oil is hydrolysed, such as during soapmaking. A common cosmetic and food ingredient used as a natural humectant and moisturizer. Glycerin is one of the oldest and most respected skin moisturisers. It has been proven in many trials (both clinical and instrumental) to increase the moisture content of the skin and protect it from becoming dry and scaly. Glycerin is listed in all of the major pharmacopoeias and is used extensively for the treatment of the skin. Our glycerin is produced from GMO-free Karanja nut oil. Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil: pure enough to eat, this oil contains a rich blend of glycerides and fatty acids that moisturize and protect the skin. A light, lubricious oil that protects and preserves the dermis from moisture loss and helps to keep it soft and smooth. Argania spiosa (argan) kernel oil: also known as “liquid gold”, is extracted from the kernels of the Moroccan Argan Tree. Argan oil is chock-full of vitamin E, fatty acids (vitamin F), carotenoids like beta-carotene, phytosterols and squalene. Thanks to its antioxidant content, it can ward off and improve aging signs such as wrinkles and sagginess. It can restore resilience to the acid mantle and impart luminosity, softness, moisture as well as protection against dryness to the skin. Argan oil is a non-comedogenic, anti-inflammatory and regenerative agent, thus can be used by oily and acne-prone skin types. It is recommended for all sorts of skin irritations, scars, stretch marks and sunburns. Frequent application of argan oil can strengthen and shield nails from environmental protection and heal dry, brittle hair. Leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate: is an antimicrobial peptide isolated from radish roots that have been subjected to bacterial fermentation. This broad spectrum ECOCERT- approved preservative is considered a safe and effective alternative to parabens and other harsh antimicrobials. Cocos nucifera (coconut) water: it is freeze-dried under controlled conditions to ensure that its solids bioactivity remains intact. It contains a unique blend of proteins, amino acids, sugars, vitamins, and cytokines that support healthy cell growth. Furthermore, it deeply moisturizes the skin, stimulates microcirculation and improves the tone, texture and elasticity of the skin. Raphanus sativus (radish) seed oil: this fast penetrating oil is an excellent emollient and moisturizer. It is rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants that combat aging by mopping up free radicals. Radish seed oil contains erucic acid, an omega 9 fatty acid with a similar texture to silicone that gives your skin and hair a velvety glow without causing any undesirable side effects. Sodium stearoyl lactylate: produced from the combination of two common cosmetic ingredients: stearic acid and lactic acid. This ingredient functions very effectively as an emulsifier in our moisturisers requiring very low levels of use while also imparting humactant properties to the skin. Caprylic/capric triglyceride: is a triester of glycerin, caprylic and capric acids that softens (emollient) and conditions the skin, enhaces the penetration of active ingredients, thickens cosmetic formulas and improves their spreadability. Hylocereus undatus (dragon) fruit extract: also known as pitaya, this superfruit is chock-full of vitamin B1, B2, B3, C, minerals and phytochemicals. These compounds are responsible for their anti-acne, aging-reducing, sunburn-soothing and moisturizing benefits. Hypericum perforatum (st. john’s wort) flower extract: contains flavonoids and tannins that soothe, tighten and protect the skin. With continued use, it will control sebum secretion as well as plump up and hydrate the complexion thus minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. St. John´s wort has the ability to help heal skin traumas faster (burns, bruises, scarpes) because it oxygenates the skin and stimulates cell repair. Centella asiatica (gotu kola) herb extract: has been widely used in both Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine due to its numerous health benefits. Since it promotes collagen production, it is considered a must in the treatment fine lines/wrinkles, droopy skin and stretch marks. It is known to considerably reduce inflammation, hence it is a sought-after eczema and psoriasis remedy. It too improves microcirculation, speeds up tissue repair (as in photodamaged skin) and minimizes scarring. Centaurea cyanus (cornflower): its distinctive color is due to a type of flavonoids called anthocyanins, which also happend to be potent antioxidants. Thanks to these compounds, cornflower boasts amazing anti-inflammatory, astringent, antiseptic and wound healing benefits as well as firm the skin and reduce fine lines/wrinkles. Gluconolactone: naturally-derived, usually produced by microorganism oxidation of glucose, vegan friendly preservative with broad spectrum protection that improves skin´s moisture content and has an exceptional low toxicity profile, long history of use, is non-sensitizing and non-irritating. This polyhydroxy acid also provides antioxidant, anti-aging, antibacterial, chelating, deodorizing, skin-conditioning and sun-protective benefits. Sourced from non-GMO corn. Leptospermum scoparium (manuka) extract: contains sequiterpenes, which are the compounds responsible form manuka´s antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. This makes manuka one of the most sought-after natural remedies for infections, including acne. Manuka reduces histamine production, thus acts as an anti-allergenic agent. Manuka helps treat wounds as well as the scarring and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentations associated with acne by promoting cell growth. Lysolecithin: is derived from GM-free sunflower oil´s phosphatidylcholine and compounded with enzymes. It’s primarily used for its emulsifying properties, but also to nourish, protect and soften (emollient) the skin’s surface. It serves as a base for creams and increases their spreadability. High in phospholipids and essential fatty acids, lysolecithin has a high affinity to skin and penetrates easily to nourish the skin’s cell membranes, keeping the skin supple. Its ability to form a film on the skin’s surface reduces water loss and aids skin hydration; it helps improve the appearance of enlarged pores. Its penetration-enhancing properties can be viewed negatively at times, because these could carry undesirable chemicals across the skin barrier. However, in an organic product this can be a positive property, because it helps essential nutrients reach deeper layers of the epidermis. Laminaria digitata (seaweed) extract: is a large brown seaweed that contains high concentrations of sugars, amino acids, minerals and trace elements. Its polygalactosides and ursolic acid content help form a protective barrier on the skin. Laminaria digitata is rich in fucose polymers, hygroscopic agents that significantly improve hydration levels of the skin. This seaweed also increases skin flexibility and functions as skin conditioner, emulsifier and thickening active. Sclerotium gum: a natural gel-like polymer (polyssacharide gum), produced through a fermentation process by the Sclerotium rolfssii bacterium. It has exceptional conditioning, film-forming, thickening, stabilizing, suspension-making, soothing and viscosity-increasing properties. Sclerotium gum also improves the moisture levels, feel and smoothness of the hair and skin. Tocopherol: commonly known as vitamin E; we use a mixture of tocopherols made from GM-free sunflower oil. Provides antioxidant protection to oils thereby keeping a product fresh. Vitamin E is one of the oil soluble vitamins that has been used therapeutically for the treatment of numerous conditions such as sunburn, acne, rheumatic conditions, wound healing and pruritic (itching) skin ailments. It has also been shown to reduce formation of scar tissue, helps prevent premature skin aging by blocking the lipid peroxidation responsible for cell membrane damage and also inhibits UV-induced erythema (skin redness). It is a potent free radical scavenger (antioxidant) and an excellent skin protectant.   Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice freeze-dried powder: has the ability to effectively penetrate and transport healthy substances through the skin. Aloe Vera provides numerous cutaneous skin benefits such as acting as an excellent moisturizer, keeping the skin flexible and supplying oxygen to cells, as well as increasing the strength and synthesis of skin tissue, thus preventing premature aging. Rich in mucopolysaccharides (naturally occurring sugars that keep the skin moist and plump), minerals, amino acids and enzymes, aloe has renowned soothing, anti-inflammatory and healing properties, making it suitable for cuts, grazes, insect bites, sunburn, acne, dermatitis, sensitive and irritated skin Xanthan gum: produced by bacteria through fermentation of non-GMO corn. This polyssacharide is used in food and cosmetic products as a thickener and stabilizer. Chosen for its natural and GMO-free source as we do not use acrylic (petrochemical sourced) thickeners or part synthetic. Xantham gums provides stability to gels and emulsions. Saccharomyces (brewer’s yeast) lysate extract: is an extract of the cells of the saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast. It increases cell respiration, thus heightening the efficiency with which cells utilize oxygen. This, in turn, potentiates the efficacy of other actives and improves microcirculation. S. lysate extract is a source of beta-glucan, an antioxidant with anti-aging and skin soothing benefits. Plus, it reduces inflammation and promotes tissue repair. Bisabolol (levomenol): is a colorless, thick oily liquid that is the primary component of the German chamomile essential oil. It increases the permeability of the skin, provides conditioning benefits and enhances the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness. It has a long-standing reputation as being an effective soothing and antimicrobial agent. Due to its panthenol content, it can boost the skin´s renewal process and stimulate healthy hair growth. Bisabolol´s subtle floral aroma is also used as a fragrance ingredient in cosmetics and personal care products. Pinus sylvestris (pine) leaf extract: provides prebiotic benefits that help mitigate P. acnes bacteria proliferation and combat the aging process. Contains methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) which detoxifies the skin and stimulates its regeneration. Pine leaf contains potent antioxidants like vitamin C and vitamin A. Vitamin C acts as a cofactor in the synthesis of collagen, inhibits melanin formation and tones capillary walls. Vitamin A, on the other hand, regenerates the skin, balances sebum production and keeps pores clear. Ribes nigrum (blackcurrant) fruit extract: chock-full of antioxidants, such as tannins and anthocyanins, that help reduce aging signs and prevent bacterial growth. Black currants have potent anti-inflammatory benefits as well as soften and nourish the skin. Sodium hyaluronate: a hydrophilic ingredient, which means it readily binds to water hence its super moisturizing properties. Hyaluronic acid is found throughout the body but it especially concentrated on the skin. It is known as Nature’s moisturizer due to its high water-binding capacity, so acts as a hydrating agent and space filler. It supports collagen and elastin, by keeping them nourished and moist, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles while keeping the skin soft, smooth and supple. Our light-weight hyaluronic acid is produced from pine cellulose through GM-free microbial fermentation. Pullulan: a polysaccharide produced from starch by cultivating the yeast, Aureobasidium pullulans. Its main use is the manufacture of edible films such as in breath freshener or oral hygiene products. Cosmetics-wise, it is a good binding, film forming and thickening agent. It provides an antioxidant effect as well as an instant lifting (although temporary) that improves the overall texture and appearance of the skin. Long-term use of pullulan will strengthen the skin´s immune system and make it more resistant to patogens. Gardenia jasminoides (gardenia) flower extract: enhances the aroma of the formula while lifting up your mood and inducing a state of relaxation. Topically speaking, gardenia flower has powerful antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is also known to stimulate microcirculation and reduce scars/hyperpigmentations. Sodium hydroxide: produced by electrolysis of salt and water. Acts as a pH buffering agent in cosmetic products; it is added to maintain the correct acid/alkali level of a product. It comes in very low concentrations. Teprenone: this ketone has been recently used in the cosmetic industry due to its telomere-lengthening properties. Telomeres are segments of repetitive DNA located at the ends of chromosomes that protect them from undergoing deterioration. With each cell division, telomeres shorten which, eventually, leads to cellular death (=aging). This is because cells can only divide a certain number of times. When applied to the skin, teprenone stabilizes telomeres thus provides a more youthful appearance of the skin by increasing hydration, improving its barrier function as well as reducing wrinkles, pore size and redness. Hippophae rhamnoides (sea buckthorn) fruit oil: cold pressed from organically grown seeds. It is an effective rejuvenating agent, stimulates microcirculation, cell regeneration and has a powerful anti-inflammatory action. Sea buckthorn seed oil is the only plant known to contain Omega’s 3,6,9 – and the rare 7 – altogether. It also contains a vitamin C concentration ten times greater than oranges. Ubiquinone (CoQ10): produced by non-GMO yeast fermentation; free from any petrochemical derivatives. This powerful active, found in all living cells, is essential for cell metabolism. It has been extensively studied establishing its safety and beneficial properties both when ingested and when applied topically. Known for its powerful antioxidant properties along with its role in cell energy, it has been reported in clinical studies to reduce the depth of wrinkles and accelerate collagen production thereby gaining a reputation as an anti-aging active. DermOne uses an all natural, high purity form of Ubiquinone produced by yeast fermentation (synthetic sources have been found to contain impurities) which is identical to what is naturally produced in the body. Sodium metabisulfite: this inorganic salt is part of our proprietary preservative system. It also prevents deterioration by acting as an antioxidant and reducing agent. Parfum: from certified organic essential oils Benzyl alcohol: an antimicrobial found in nature; e.i. edible fruit and tea. It is used as a solvent, preservative and fragrance (masking) ingredient at very low doses. Citric acid: an alpha hydroxy acid found naturally in citrus fruits. Used in our products at very low levels to regulate acidity to match the natural pH of the skin. Permitted food ingredient and by organic certification agencies; it is produced through bacterial fermentation of sugar. Calcium gluconate: like gluconolactone, is a preservative derived from gluconic acid (its calcium salt) and is approved by all natural/organic cosmetic certification bodies. Calcium gluconate can act too as an anti-inflammatory, healing, humectant and skin conditioning agent. Phenoxyethanol: used at < 0.01% this source is derived primarily from green tea and is produced synthetically by green chemistry principles. Used as a solvent to assist with a temporary lifting effect.   Methylpropanediol: is a type of alcohol that functions as solvent, penetration enhancer and hydrating ingredient in cosmetic formulas. Europe´s conform level with the safety data associated with this permitted preservative is clearly reassuring. Salix nigra (willow) bark extract: A source of 100% natural salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid with keratolytic, astringent and regenerative properties that benefit acne-prone skin due to its pore-clearing, antiseptic, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory nature. Rosa damascena (rose) flower oil+: Helps improve microcirculation and moisture levels as well as boost skin´s collagen/elastin synthesis. Frequent use will help soften, invigorate, tone and restore radiance to the skin. Sericin (silk) extract: Is rich in fibrous proteins (similar to collagen) and amino acids that lock in moisture and speed up cutaneous metabolism. Silk can help tighten the skin, increase its elasticity, soften it and reduce the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles. Karanja/pongamia extract: high in omega 9 fatty acids, it quickly absorbs into skin, making it a wonderful remedy for dry skin. Karanja oil also has antibacterial properties making it beneficial for psoriasis and eczema too. Amorphophallus (konjac) root extract: Indigenous to Eastern Asia, konjac has amazing water-absorbing properties. It can effectively exfoliate surface build-up and deeply embedded impurities. Konjac can also promote pH-balance, stimulate microcirculation as well as brighten and regenerate the complexion. Citric acid‡: Produced through bacterial fermentation of non-GMO sugar, this alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) is found naturally in citrus fruits and is used at minute levels to regulate acidity to match the mild acidity of the skin.

Glossary Zinc oxide (7.44%): is a white/yellowish inorganic oxide which is insoluble in water. This compound occurs in nature as zincite, though most of the comercially used zinc oxide is produced synthetically. Zinc oxide has medicinal properties; it is an astringent and antiseptic. During ancient times, zinc oxide was used to treat a wide variety of skin ailments including wounds and skin cancer. Zinc oxide is a skin protectant and a physical sunscreen agent, it does not penetrate the skin and effectively absorbs both UVA and UVB light. It has been recognized by the FDA as a safe ingredient due to the fact that it remains on the skin´s surface it does not cause allergies and /or irritations   Titanium dioxide (3.015%): a white, water-insoluble, opaque powder which occurs in nature. Titanium dioxide is a widely used and durable pigment that provides a white hue; is an opacifier, reduces transparency, thickens and prevents deterioration of cosmetics, foods, medications, tattoos etc. This mineral is one of the most important ingredients used in sunscreens nowadays because it works as a physical blocker that absorbs, reflects and scatters UVA and UVB light. Both the FDA and the EU Cosmetics Directive have assessed titanium dioxide as a safe ingredient for human use. Its inhalable form (i.e. loose powders), however, is considered a possible carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Nanoized titanium dioxide does not appear to confer any unique health hazards when applied in lotions or sunscreens. Aqua (water): water in Latin, is the word used in the INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) to label this vital element. Camelina sativa (camelina) seed oil: packed with omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E; has similar properties to flax seed oil but it is much more stable. Camelina oil nourishes, improves skin elasticity, repairs damaged tissue, has inflammatory properties (thus making it beneficial for psoriasis, eczema, etc.) and provides a protective coating for hair follicles.   Argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil: also known as “liquid gold”, is extracted from the kernels of the Moroccan Argan Tree. Argan oil is a non-comedogenic anti-inflammatory and regenerative agent, thus can be used by oily and acne-prone skin types. It is recommended for all sorts of skin irritations, scars, stretch marks and sunburns. Frequent application of argan oil can strengthen and shield nails from environmental protection and heal dry, brittle hair.   Bisabolol (Levomenol): is a colorless, thick oily liquid that is the primary component of the German chamomile essential oil. It increases the permeability of the skin, provides conditioning benefits and enhances the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness. It has a long-standing reputation as being an effective soothing and anti-microbial agent. Due to its panthenol content, it can boost the skin´s renewal process and stimulate healthy hair growth. Bisabolol´s subtle floral aroma is also used as a fragrance ingredient in cosmetics and personal care products.   Jojoba esters: produced by the transesterification/interesterification (reaction between an alcohol and an acid with water being eliminated) of cold-pressed jojoba seed oil. This oil is an enigma — if one looks at the chemical structure it would appear to be a wax! Nature’s only liquid wax has some extraordinary properties, since it has the protective power of a wax but the light emollient and conditioning softness of oil. It is reported in literature to alleviate minor skin irritations and to be effective in the treatment of dry and sore skin. Jojoba is a good solvent for sebum and is used to control and complement this natural moisturizer.   Butyloctyl salicylate: also known as benzoic acid, is an ester of salicylic acid with a low irritation potential. In the cosmetic industry, it is used a gentle solvent, sunscreen stabilizer as well as a skin and hair conditioning agent.   Cetearyl alcohol: a long-chain fatty alcohol derived from GMO-free coconuts. This multitasking ingredient works as carrier, emulsifying, thickening, surfactant and viscosity-reducing agent in cosmetic formulas. It has excellent emollient properties thus softens the skin. Permitted in organic cosmetics by organic certification agencies.   Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil: one of Nature´s best moisturizers and emollients thanks to its medium chain triglycerides that keep the skin smooth and prevent transepidermal water loss. It readily and deeply penetrates the skin as well as removes surface build-up. Coconut oil is rich in capric, caprylic and lauric fatty acids, which have strong disinfectant and antimicrobial properties. This oil also contains significant amounts of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, skin protectant, anti-aging and regenerative active. Coconut oil is good for several skin disorders such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Unlike other oils, it does not become rancid so it can work for a longer time.   Glyceryl stearate: DermOne´s glyceryl stearate is made from GMO-free vegetable sources. Produced by the esterification of glycerin and stearic acid. Functions as an emulsifier in creams and lotions with emollient (skin softening) properties. Permitted in food and by organic certification agencies in cosmetic products.   Coconut alcohol: produced from fermentation of non-GMO coconuts. An effective extracting medium and solvent for herbal extracts taking out both water and oil soluble nutrients; can also be used as a natural preservative. We add minute amounts so as to avoid disturbing the pH of the skin and/or cause irritation.   Cetearyl glucoside: an alkyl glucoside that is formed by reacting an alcohol with a cyclic form of the sugar, glucose or glucose polymers. SophytoPRO´s cetearyl glucoside is produced from natural ingredients; it functions as an emulsifying and surfactant agent.   Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter: an effective emollient and smoother; has natural antioxidant properties as well as a small quantity of allantoin which is renowned for its healing qualities. It is also said to protect the skin against external aggressions and sunrays.   Coco glucoside: a detergent from the chemical group alkyl polyglucosides produced from GMO-free coconuts. DermOne has chosen this cleansing agent as it comes from a sustainable plant source and not derived from petrochemicals. We use it at very low concentrations to produce a mild and cleansing action. Approved for use in organic cosmetics by organic certification agencies.   Sodium dehydroacetate: DermOne´s primary concern is the health and safety of those using our products. With that in mind, we therefore must balance producing the most natural/organic product with producing a microbially safe and stable product. For this reason it has been necessary in some of the products to add a synthetic antimicrobial. Sodium dehydroacetate (salt of dehydroacetic acid) has a good profile for use in cosmetics. It is considered safe to use as a food processing ingredient. It is non-toxic, non- sensitizing and non-irritating to the skin. It is used in DermOne´s products well below the maximum concentration listed in the EU cosmetic directive and at the lowest dose possible to produce adequate anti-microbial action. Globally approved preservative for cosmetics and toiletries. Also permitted as food preservative in most countries and by organic certification bodies to use in organic cosmetic products.   Tocopherol: commonly known as vitamin E; DermOne uses a mix of tocopherols made from GMO-free sunflower oil. Provides antioxidant protection to oils thereby keeping a product fresh. Vitamin E is one of the oil soluble vitamins that has been used therapeutically for the treatment of numerous conditions such as sunburn, acne, rheumatic conditions, wound healing and pruritic (itching) skin conditions. It has also been shown to reduce scar forming tissue, helps prevent premature skin aging by blocking the lipid peroxidation responsible for cell membrane damage and also inhibits UV-induced erythema (skin redness). It is a potent free radical scavenger (antioxidant) and an excellent skin protectant.   Tocopheryl acetate: An oil soluble pro-vitamin E. A high quality tocopherol acetate made with GMO-free tocopherol that is esterified with acetic acid. Tocopherol’s antioxidant properties are well known and play an essential role in protecting the skin from aging, UV damage and environmental stress. However, the antioxidant activity is not very long-lasting. Tocopheryl acetate is far more stable than tocopherol, thus preserving the antioxidant capacity until it is applied to the skin where it can be converted to the active vitamin E tocopherol. All too often a synthetic form is used, however, DermOne has chosen to include one made from natural, gluten-free and soy-free tocopherol.   Phytic acid: a chelating ingredient (binds to heavy metals) found in nature e.g. rice (Oryza sativa). This is a material that ‘mops up’ any trace amounts of coloured metal ions that may otherwise discolour, or spoil the product. It also works with the our proprietary preservative system and helps to weaken any contamination, or spoilage organism that might be introduced into the product.   Citric acid: an alpha hydroxy acid found naturally in citrus fruits. Used in DermOne´s products at very low levels to regulate acidity to match the natural pH of the skin. Permitted food ingredient and by organic certification agencies. Sodium benzoate: is the sodium salt of benzoic acid; a preservative approved for use worldwide and is included on the European Union Cosmetics Directive “Positive List” (Europe has banned more than 1,200 ingredients due to safety concerns). Calcium gluconate: like gluconolactone, is a preservative derived from gluconic acid (its calcium salt) and is approved by all natural/organic cosmetic certification bodies. Calcium gluconate can act too as an anti-inflammatory, healing, humectant and skin-conditioning agent. Reviews Miriam, Knoxville –  Checked the ingredients before ordering. Camellia sinensis leaf oil: packed with omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E; has similar properties to flax seed oil but it is much more stable. Levulinic acid: an organic acid classified in EU under skin conditioning and perfuming, but also having strong antimicrobial properties. Produced through the modification of non-GMO corn sugars with heat and acid. It is an effective, non-toxic and non-sensitizing preservative. It has no cosmetic restrictions placed on it and is permitted to use in organic formulations by organic certification bodies. Sodium levulinate: it is the sodium salt of levulinic acid, thus has similar properties. It is used as a EU approved preservative (inhibits microbial proliferation) and skin conditioning agent. It is derived from non GMO-corn. Sodium hydroxide: produced by electrolysis of salt and water. Acts as a pH buffering agent in cosmetic products; it is added to maintain the correct acid/alkali level of a product. It comes in very low concentrations and balanced with acidic components to ensure the pH of the product is at the right level for the natural acid mantle of the skin which in turn helps support healthy skin maintenance. Glossary Deionized water (Aqua): is water that has had all its ions or minerals removed such as sodium, calcium, magnesium, iron, etc. For that reason, it is also known as demineralized water. Due to its ultra pure nature, it is often used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry. Furthermore, it maximizes the shelf life of formulas and minimizes contamination which could have a negative effect in the finished product. Water is primarily used in practically all cosmetics and personal care products to dissolve many of the ingredients that impart skin benefits known as actives. Butyrospermumparkii (Shea) butter*: an effective emollient and skin smoother that has natural antioxidant properties as well as a small quantity of allantoin which is renowned for its skin protectant qualities. Nigella sativa (Black cumin) oil*:   chock-full of vitamins A, B, C and minerals like magnesium and zinc. It balances sebum production and cleanses clogged pores. Black cumin´s essential fatty acids (EFA) help support the barrier function of the skin and prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL). It is also known for its antimicrobial and disinfectant properties. Glycerin*: from non-GMO karanja nut oil, glycerin is one of the oldest and most respected skin moisturizers proven in many trials (both clinical and instrumental) to increase the moisture content of the skin, protecting it from becoming dry and scaly. Glyceryl stearate‡: made from non-GMO vegetable sources functions as an emulsifier in creams and lotions with skin softening properties. Permitted in cosmetics and personal care products by organic certification agencies. Diatomaceous earth: a naturally-formed sedimentary mineral rock made from fossilized oceanic unicellular algae. This health-enhancing mineral consists of about 80%-90% silica, 2%-4% alumina and 0.5%-2% iron dioxide. Silica is considered a beauty mineral that builds and maintains healthy connective tissue, skin, hair and nails. It acts as an exfoliant that effectively removes dead skin cells from the skin’s surface and purifies the complexion. Camelina sativa (Camelina) seed oil*: packed with omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E; has similar properties to flax seed oil but is much more stable. Camelina oil nourishes, improves skin elasticity, has inflammatory properties making it beneficial for psoriasis, eczema, etc and provides a protective coating for hair follicles. This polyhydroxy acid also provides antioxidant, antibacterial, chelating, deodorizing, skin-conditioning and sun-protective benefits. Coconut alcohol‡: produced from fermentation of non-GMO coconuts, it is an effective extracting medium for herbal extracts taking out both water and oil soluble nutrients. It can also be used as a natural preservative where we add a minute level to match the pH of the skin. Tocopherol‡¤: commonly known as vitamin E; we use a mixture of tocopherols from non-GMO sunflower oil that provide superior antioxidant protection to oils and are excellent skin protectants. Synthetic fluorphlogopite: is a type of white synthetic mica that is smoothly coated in titanium dioxide, a naturally occurring white pigment, which then creates a silvery pearl essence that gives a glowing appearance on the skin. Phytic acid‡: found in rice, it helps enhance the freshness and stability of cosmetics and personal care products during their shelf life. Iron oxides (CI77499): also known as black iron oxide. Iron oxides are safe inorganic compounds made of iron and oxygen. They are widely used as colorants in cosmetic formulas. Sodium hydroxide: acts as a pH buffering agent in cosmetic and personal care products and is used at minute levels to regulate acidity to match the pH of the skin. Sodium benzoate§: is the sodium salt of benzoic acid; a preservative approved for use worldwide and is included on the European Union Cosmetics Directive “Positive List” (Europe has banned more than 1,200 ingredients due to safety concerns). It has also been approved by the Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare in both rinse-off and leave-on applications. Europe´s conform level with the safety data associated with this permitted preservative is clearly reassuring. * Certified organic ingredients. ¤ Derived from sunflower oil. ‡ From non-GMO, vegetable source. § EU Cosmetics Directive approved preservatives considered to the ‘natural alternatives’ for use in more natural-based personal care products. Reviews Joanne B, NC  Every mud mask I’ve tried they’ve dried out my skin. Not this. Its creaminess doesn’t stop how deeply it cleans pores. My skin felt polished and refreshed afterward. Nita Sharma, WA  Best mud mask I have ever used. I would like a larger jar so it can be used on the rest of my body. Since being in self-isolation I decided to throw out my old cosmetics and look for different ones that had better ingredients. Aiysha, VT  Creamy and doesn’t dry out. The mask has a brightening effect on my skin, probably due to how well the ingredients are detoxing it! Have just started using 3 times a week because I enjoy how it makes my skin feel and look. Please please make more masks!! Julie S My favorite mud mask ever. It’s so creamy and dreamy I could use it every day.

Glossary Aqua (water): in Latin, is the word used in the INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) to label this vital element. Mangifera indica (mango) seed butter: it is rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs) that soften, soothe and nourish the skin. Boasts a high concentration of antioxidants, thus neutralizes the effects of free radicals, protects against UV radiation and evens out the complexion. Its   regenerative agents minimize cell degeneration while increasing elasticity of the skin. Mango seed butter it is used as a natural remedy for fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks. Vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil: it is composed of polyinsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), phytosterols, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), tocopherol (vitamin E), polyphenols and carotenoids.  It functions as a potent antioxidant, oxygenating, anti-inflammatory and astringent agent. It clears pores and prevents surface build-up. Can be used as a treatment for dark under eye circles and hyperpigmentations. Due to its low molecular weight, it readily soaks in without clogging the skin. Grape seed oil is known for its collagen stimulating properties, hence it promotestissue repair. Regular application will result in a radiant, youthful looking complexion. Glycerin: or glycerol, is released when an oil is hydrolyzed, such as during soap-making. A common cosmetic and food ingredient used as a natural humectant and moisturizer. Glycerin is one of the oldest and most respected skin moisturizers. Camellia oleifera (camellia) seed oil: it is native to Asia and is also known as tea seed oil. Camellia oil is rich in oleic acid, vitamin E and antioxidants. It deeply hydrates, softens, nourishes and repairs the skin. It can prevent premature aging as well as diminish fine lines and wrikles. Thanks to its astringent, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, it heals blemishes such as breakouts and dark spots. Niacinamide: also known as vitamin B3, offers a wide array of skin benefits. Topical use of niacinamide can dramatically improve skin moisturization and prevent transepidermal water loss (barrier function) by increasing fatty acids and ceramides levels. Niacinamide stimulates microcirculation and boosts collagen and elastin production, which translates into a more youthful and radiant complexion. It can also help achieve a more even-out tone, making it perfect for hyperpigmented skin types. Niacinamide could be the answer to long-standing acne as it reduces inflammation and treats post-breakout discolorations. Cetearyl Olivate: composed of cetearyl alcohol and fatty acids derived from olive oil. Used primarily as an emulsifier, skin/hair conditioner and softening agent. It gives cosmetic formulas a silky and smooth feel. Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) seed oil: this light-colored oil is native to Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean region and North and Central America; it comes from the seeds of the Sunflower plant. The oil provides a rich source of unsaturated linoleic and oleic fatty acids as well as Vitamin E that provide emollient properties. Sunflower seed oil is soothing, moisturizing calming and caring to the skin. Sorbitan olivate: a surfactant and emulsifying agent produced from olive oil and sorbitol (a sugar alcohol). It is often used alongside cetearyl olivate in cleansers, eye/facial/body moisturizers, sunscreens. etc. Gluconolactone: is a naturally-derived, usually produced by microorganism oxidation of glucose, veganfriendly (non-GMO) preservative with broad spectrum protection that improves skin´s moisture content and has an exceptional low toxicity profile, long history of use, is non-sensitizing and non-irritating. This polyhydroxy acid also provides antioxidant, anti-aging, antibacterial, chelating, deodorizing, skin conditioning and sun-protective benefits. Gossypium herbaceum (levant cotton) seed oil: rich in vitamin E and omega 6 fatty acids which keep the skin young and protect it from damaging UV radiation. A light-weight oil that readily absorbs into the skin; it restores moisture, smoothes and softens the skin. Bidens pilosa (spanish needle) extract: another vegetable source of retinol-like activity without the immunological and inflammatory effect of synthetic retinol. Bidens Pilosa softens wrinkles, restores elasticity, plumps the skin, stimulates collagen synthetis and improves its radiance and texture. Elaeis guineensis (palm) oil: derived from the fruit of ethical and sustainable palm trees. It containsimportant antioxidants such as beta-carotene (15 times higher than carrots), lycopene (300 times higher than tomatoes), tocopherols, tocotrienols, CoQ10, squalene and polyphenols. Palm oil removes excess oil and dirt from the skin and hair and restores their natural moisture levels. This oil also provides emollient, skin conditioning and free-radical mopping properties. Opuntia ficus indica (prickly pear) oil: derived from the pricky pear which is native to Mexico and North America. It is rich in vitamins A, B, E & E (the highest amongst plant oils), minerals and omega fatty acids(especially linoleic acid). Its good oily and problem skin types as it regulates sebum secretion, tightens pores and reduces inflammation. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy after-feel. It’s powerful antioxidants fight off free radicals, thus preventing fine lines and wrinkles. It brightens the complexion and the presence of phytosterols helps retain moisture, improving barrier function. Linum usitatissimum (flax) seed oil: contains a very high concentration of omega 3 fatty acids. These acids lock in moisture and reduce inflammation, thus help relieve a wide array of skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, etc. Flax oil can also provide relief to sunburned skin and smooth out fine lines/wrinkles. Tocopherol: commonly known as vitamin E; we use a mixture of tocopherols made from GM-free sunflower oil. Provides antioxidant protection to oils thereby keeping a product fresh. Vitamin E is one of the oil soluble vitamins that has been used therapeutically for the treatment of numerous conditions such as sunburn, acne, rheumatic conditions, wound healing and itchy skin ailments. Aspalathus lineais (green rooibos) leaf extract: rich in superoxide dismutase – an enzyme that acts as an excellent anti-aging substance. A powerful antioxidant; rooibos also has high levels of many minerals and vitamins that promote healthy skin, especially zinc and vitamin D. This extract is suitable for all skin types and provides anti-bacterial and soothing properties thus making it suitable for acne, eczema and other skin disorders. Camelia sinensis (black tea) leaf extract: many people have heard of the skin care benefits of green tea,but very often, black tea is left out of the conversation. Recent research has identified it as a more oxidized variety of tea, and the oxide potential is the reason for its skin friendliness. The big difference is the caffeine content. Black tea has about double the caffeine content of green tea which can help reduce redness and puffiness of the skin as well as protect it against UV-induced cancer. Black tea extract is a good quality antibacterial astringent; regular application of black tea extract on helps control breakouts of pimples and even acne. Camelia sinensis (white tea) leaf extract: white and green teas come from the same plant, so it’s onlynatural that they share some benefits. White tea is produced from the youngest tea leaves and is minimally processed. White tea also encourages longer moisture retention for your skin. White tea, like green tea also contains catechins (especially epigallocatechin gallate) which have anti-inflammatory properties. Other potential benefits for skin conditions include, psoriasis, rosacea, wrinkles and wounds. In order to be sure that your green tea skin care product is truly effective, it must not contain any parabens or propylene glycols, which are toxins that deactivate green tea polyphenols. Hyaluronic acid: a hydrophilic ingredient, which means it readily binds to water hence its super moisturizing properties. It can hold its weight 1000 times in water. Hyaluronic acid is found throughout the body, but it is especially concentrated on the skin. It is known as Nature’s moisturizer due to its high water-binding capacity, so it acts as a hydrating agent and space filler. It supports collagen and elastin, by keeping them nourished and moist, reduces the appearance of wrinkles while keeping the skin soft, smooth and supple. Our light-weight hyaluronic acid is produced from vegetable sources through GMO-free microbial fermentation. Saccharomyces copper ferment: it is copper that has been converted into a bioavailable and low-molecular weight glycopeptide by action of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This active ingredient works as a skin conditioning agent and, like all live yeast-cell derivatives, it could help promote wound healing and protect the skin. Saccharomyces iron ferment: a fermentation product of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in the presence of iron ions. It acts as an antioxidant and skin conditioning agent. Saccharomyces magnesium ferment: is a skin conditioning and antioxidant obtained by the fermentation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in the presence of magnesium ions.  Saccharomyces silicon ferment: is the extract of yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) in the presence of silicon ions. This is an excellent skin conditioning and antioxidant active.  Saccharomyces zinc ferment: the extract of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast) ferment, in the presence of zinc ions. It is mostly used for its antioxidant, skin conditioning and moisturizing properties. When used alongside copper, iron, magnesium and silicon ferments, it can enhance barrier function, increase energy production/growth factor expression, decrease stress related factors and reduce inflammation. Phytic acid: a chelating ingredient (binds to heavy metals) found in nature e.g. rice (Oryza sativa). This is a material that ‘mops up’ any trace amounts of coloured metal ions that may otherwise discolour or spoil theproduct. It also works alongside our proprietary preservative system to extend the shelf life of the formula and helps to weaken any contamination or spoilage organism that might be introduced into the product. Phytic acid also offers moisturizing, sebum-controlling and skin lightening benefits. Hydroxypropyl cyclodextrin: a carbohydrate, derived from plants or synthetized artificially, that works as a chelating agent and stabilizer. Calcium gluconate: like gluconolactone, is a preservative derived from gluconic acid (its calcium salt) and is approved by all natural/organic cosmetic certification bodies. Calcium gluconate can act too as an antiinflammatory, healing, humectant and skin-conditioning agent. Angelica keskei (ashitaba) leaf/stem extract (tomorrow´s leaf): has been used for centuries to enhance the body’s natural health due to its remarkable benefits. The Japanese named this plant tomorrow´s leaf afterthey observed that when the stem was cut, a new leaf magically appeared a mere day later. Tomorrow´sLeaf is a dietary treasure, containing eleven vitamins, thirteen minerals, chlorophyll, enzymes, carotene, germanium, saponins, proteins, plant fibers, glycosides, coumarins, and a unique and rare class of flavonoids called chalcones. These are very unique polyphenols found in the leaf; they are bountiful in the bright-yellow sap of the plant. When used on the skin, it makes available the antioxidant Chalcone (Xanthoangelol and4-hydroxyderricin), which is much more potent than those found in green tea, citrus fruits and grapes. This antioxidant will not only ward off and neutralize deleterious free radicals, but it will also allow your skin to regenerate in record time.  Palmitoyl tripeptide-38: a synthetic matrikine, trademarketed as Matrixyl synthe’6 R, that is produced from derivatives of the amino acids lysine and methione sulfone. Matrikines are oligo-peptides and protein fragments that are generated during the macromolecule breakdown process; they act as messangers that initiate tissue repair. Palmitoyl tripeptide boosts synthesis of collagen I, II, & IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic and laminin 5, thus visibly reduces wrinkles as well as regenerates and lifts the skin. Citric acid: an alpha hydroxy acid found naturally in citrus fruits. Used in our products at very low levels to regulate acidity to match the natural pH of the skin. Permitted food ingredient and by organic certificationagencies; it is produced through bacterial fermentation of sugar. Sodium benzoate: is the sodium salt of benzoic acid; a preservative approved for use worldwide and is included on the European Union Cosmetics Directive “Positive List” (Europe has banned more than 1,300 ingredients due to safety concerns). It has also been approved by the Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare in both rinse-off and leave-in applications. Japan, like Europe, abide by the most stringent criteria in the world concerning what ingredients can be used in personal care products to also keep the productitself free from harmful contamination. Europe´s conform level with the safety data associated with this permitted preservative is clearly reassuring.   Reviews Ann  I use the very expensive version of this and can honestly say this works just as well. It also smells better. I love the ingredients and how soft and fresh it leaves my skin. This may be it! I’m thrilled at the results.   O Ramirez, San Diego I have rosacea that can make my face rough and dry. Q: How long before I start seeing results? The American Academy of Dermatology recommends sticking to acne treatment for up to 10 weeks because acne is one of the most difficult skin disorders to treat. So, be patient and persevere. Keep in mind during this process it is completely normal to experience a few extra breakouts as part of the die-off effect. If you do not notice any improvement after 10 weeks, please contact us for support. Q: Can I use other products with these? No, we recommend you discontinue other treatments as ingredients like benzoyl peroxide will interfere with the prebiotic action of this formula. Reviews Shirleigh H  I used to purchase PROACTIV for my acne, but after a few days my skin would get inflamed and flaky. My doctor recommended this system and at first I was really skeptical as they claim the prebiotics help control the acne-causing bacteria. I probably shouldn’t have doubted as much as I did because this actually did work. The cleanser really deep cleans my skin and doesn’t leave it feeling uncomfortable. The acne serum is quite luxurious (no smell) and goes straight into skin. Then for any pesky pimples I apply the blemish corrector and I have witnessed spots going overnight from this stuff. I’ve actually ordered just this for my son who gets the odd pimple and I know it’s something he will use because it doesn’t look like a medicated product which embarrasses him. Shirleigh H, Seattle Alana V My skin has been as clear as a bell since using this system. It took about 2 weeks to fully clear up my acne and even though my skin is now clear, I continue to use it because my skin simply loves the ingredients and I see how healthy it looks. Alana V, Chicago Dr. Wendy Warner  Ok, this is coming from someone who wears no makeup, doesn’t color her hair, and doesn’t even have any piercings: all of us need to take better care of our skin. Skincare products typically have a TON of nasty ingredients, the least of which is gluten. And yes, we absorb it all through our skin. I’ve found a line of products that are herbal-based, work really well, and are a reasonable cost. The creator of this line is a UK-based herbalist. I like these products so much that I decided to carry them at the office. There is one line for “older” skin (that would be me!) and one for acne-prone skin. Dr. Wendy Warner Dr. Ron Hoffman  I searched high and low for a healthy, effective, safe topical product for my patients until I stumbled across DermOne and SkinSanity; commercial acne products like those you see heavily advertised on TV and in magazines may provide relief from blemishes but their ingredients scare me. These clean products cleanse and disinfect skin with natural ingredients such as pine, black currant, meadowsweet, bilberry, lemon, orange, and willow bark. Dr. Ronald Hoffman

It supports collagen and elastin, by keeping them nourished and moist, reduces the appearance of wrinkles while keeping the skin soft, smooth and supple. Our light-weight hyaluronic acid is produced from vegetable sources through GMO-free microbial fermentation. Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice freeze-dried juice: has the ability to effectively penetrate and transport healthy substances through the skin. Aloe vera provides numerous skin benefits such as acting as an excellent moisturizer, keeping the skin flexible and supplying oxygen to cells, as well as increasing the strength and synthesis of skin tissue, thus preventing premature aging. Rich in mucopolysaccharides (naturally occurring sugars that keep the skin moist and plump), minerals, amino acids and enzymes, aloe has renowned soothing, anti-inflammatory and healing properties, making it suitable for sunburn, acne, dermatitis, sensitive and irritated skin. Turmeric (Curcuma longa) root extract: a South Indian spice with a long-standing use as flavoring and coloring agent as well as a medicinal and beautifying herb. Turmeric has scientifically proven anti-inflammatory and soothing properties that relieve swelling, inflammation and redness. Topical application of turmeric oil significantly reduces itchiness and hastens wound healing. Turmeric controls microorganisms growth on the skin, thus can ward off acne-causing P. Acnes bacteria and prevent other infections from spreading. It also balances sebum secretion and cleans up pores. Turmeric oil minimizes skin irritation, rashes, inflammation, etc. associated with most types of eczema. It has been clinically shown to control the psoriasis causing T-lymphocyte autoimmune proliferation. Turmeric oil has powerful antioxidant activities that combat free radicals including reactive oxygen species, which make it an ultra effective anti-aging agent. Turmeric oil has outstanding complexion lightening properties. Pichia/resveratrol ferment extract: made from grapes and fermented with the pichia yeast. This potent antioxidant delivers scientifically tested and proven health and anti-aging benefits. Clinical research has identified how free radicals contribute to cell destruction. Because cell damage is at the root of most aging disorders, protecting the skin from free radical activity is a significant preventative measure for healthy skin. It also boasts antibacterial, antiviral and vasotonic benefits. Camelina sativa (camelina) seed oil: packed with omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E; has similar properties to flax seed oil but it is much more stable. Camelina oil nourishes, improves skin elasticity, repairs damaged tissue, has inflammatory properties, thus making it beneficial for psoriasis, eczema, etc., and provides a protective coating for hair follicles. Argania spiosa (argan) oil deodorized: also known as “liquid gold”, is extracted from the kernels of the Moroccan argan tree. Argan oil is chock-full of vitamin E, fatty acids (vitamin F), carotenoids like betacarotene, phytosterols and squalene. Thanks to its antioxidant content, it can ward off and improve aging signs such as wrinkles and sagginess. It can restore resilience to the acid mantle and impart luminosity, softness, moisture as well as protection against dryness to the skin. Argan oil is a non-comedogenic, anti-inflammatory and regenerative agent thus can be used by oily and acne-prone skin types. It is recommended for all sorts of skin irritations, including scars, stretch marks and sunburns. Hippophae rhamnoides (sea buckthorn) fruit oil: it is an effective rejuvenating and brightening agent, stimulates microcirculation, cell regeneration and has a powerful anti-inflammatory reaction. Sea buckthorn seed oil is the only plant known to contain Omega’s 3,6,9 – and the rare 7 – altogether. It also contains a vitamin C concentration ten times greater than oranges. Cetyl alcohol: is a long chain organic fatty alcohol derived from non-GMO vegetable fatty acids. An emulsifying agent for creams and lotions; has emollient properties aiding skin softness. Permitted in organic cosmetics by organic certification agencies. Tocopherol: commonly known as vitamin E: we use a mixture of tocopherols made from GMO-free sunflower oil. It provides antioxidant protection to oils, thereby keeping products fresh. Vitamin E is one of the oil soluble vitamins that has been used therapeutically for the treatment of numerous conditions such as sunburn, acne and itchy skin conditions. It has also been shown to reduce scar-forming tissue, helps prevent premature skin aging by blocking the lipid peroxidation responsible for cell membrane damage and it also inhibits UV-induced skin redness. It is a potent free radical scavenger (antioxidant) and an excellent skin protectant. Rosa damascena (rose) oil: this fragrant, yet delicate oil is especially beneficial for mature, dry and wrinkled complexions. It improves microcirculation, tones, rejuvenates, deeply moisturizes, improves skin´s permeability, boosts collagen and elastin synthesis and invigorates the skin. It is a powerful regenerating, anti-inflammatory, astringent and bacterial agent (kills P. acnes bacteria). Rose Otto oil can help improve conditions such as couperose, some eczema’s (especially in babies and children) and rosacea. Frequent use of Rose Otto oil will soften and restore radiance to the skin. Camelia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract: white and green teas come from the same plant, so it’s only natural that they share some benefits. White tea is produced from the mature tea leaves and is minimally processed. It encourages longer moisture retention for your skin; combine that with potent anti-aging compounds and it’s an option to consider for keeping fine lines and wrinkles at bay. In addition, green tea encourages cells to release toxins and flush them out of your system promptly. This can result in a brighter and more even-out complexion. Green tea also contains catechins (especially epigallocatechin gallate) which have strong anti-inflammatory properties. Other potential benefits for skin conditions include: psoriasis, rosacea, wrinkles and wounds. In order to make sure the green tea extract in your skin care is truly effective, it must not contain any parabens or propylene glycols, which are toxins that deactivate green tea polyphenols. Rosa damascena (rose) water: also known as rose hydrosol, is produced from the distillation process. Its tonic and soothing qualities are helpful to combat inflammation and its constricting action on the capillaries is a valuable treatment for broken thread veins. It deeply heals the skin and is a powerful rejuvenating and astringent agent. Conchiolin (cultured fresh water pearl) powder: the mechanical action in the product comes from pearls which contain a protein called nacre. Studies have shown that nacre extracts contain actives that have beneficial effects on skin by stimulating the production of a specific growth factor that help activate the cutaneous functions, enhancing tone, elasticity and luminosity. The particle size allows the user to feel the mechanical action without it being overly harsh on skin. Rosa damascena (rose) petals: a symbol of beauty and a real treasure for dried & sensitive skins due to the precious active ingredients it contains. Anthocyanocides with anti-elastase properties prevent elastin, glycoprotein involved in skin elasticity, degradation. Rose petals are also rich in sugars which have moisturizing and emollient properties. Beta vulgaris (beet) root extract: beets help stimulate the production and repair of cells, which helps protect against premature aging. Its high folate (vitamin B9) content fights wrinkles and skin conditions naturally as well as boosts overall antioxidants with vitamin A and carotenoids. Beets also help enhance the pink hue of the formula in the most natural way possible. D- glucono-1,5,-lactone: a naturally-derived broad spectrum preservative, from non-GMO corn via microorganism fermentation of glucose, that also imparts all the benefits of AHAs but it is gentle to the skin and is suitable for even the most sensitive skin types. This polyhydroxy acid is simply the dry form of gluconic acid, which is a byproduct of glucose oxidation. D- glucono-1,5,-lactone improves skin´s moisture content and has an exceptional low toxicity profile, long history of use, is non-sensitizing and non-irritating. It also provides antioxidant, anti-aging, wrinkle-smoothing, antibacterial, chelating, deodorizing, skin- conditioning and sun-protective benefits. Phytic acid: a chelating ingredient (binds to heavy metals) found in nature e.g. rice (oryza sativa). This is a material that ‘mops up’ any trace amounts of colored metal ions that may otherwise discolor or spoil the product. It also works alongside our proprietary preservative system to extend the shelf life of the formula and helps to weaken any contamination or spoilage organism that might be introduced into the product. Phytic acid also offers moisturizing, sebum-controlling and skin lightening benefits. Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil: this light-colored oil is native to Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean region and North and Central America; it comes from the seeds of the Sunflower plant. The oil provides a rich source of unsaturated linoleic and oleic fatty acids as well as Vitamin E that provide emollient properties. Sunflower seed oil is soothing, moisturizing calming and caring to the skin. Cetearyl olivate: composed of cetearyl alcohol and fatty acids derived from olive oil. Used primarily as an emulsifier, skin/hair conditioner and softening agent. It gives cosmetic formulas a silky and smooth feel. Sorbitan olivate: a surfactant and emulsifying agent produced from olive oil and sorbitol (a sugar alcohol). It is often used alongside cetearyl olivate in cleansers, eye/facial/body moisturizers, sunscreens, etc. Japan, like Europe, abide by the most stringent criteria in the world concerning what ingredients can be used in personal care products to also keep the product itself free from harmful contamination. Europe´s conform level with the safety data associated with this permitted preservative is clearly reassuring. Reviews M Desouza  Smells divine. I use this 3 times a week because it’s gentle and leaves my skin very smooth. I have also noticed it looks much brighter. M Desouza, FL. Candice, Mississippi  I used this at least 3 times a week. Can you please make this in a much bigger container? It’s been a lifesaver for my combination skin. B Chang  I was given this with some other skincare for my birthday. Xanthan gum: produced by bacteria through fermentation of non-GMO corn. Chosen for its natural and GMO-free source as we do not use acrylic (petrochemical sourced) thickeners or part synthetic. Xantham gums provides stability to gels and emulsions. Sodium benzoate: is a synthetic preservative approved for use worldwide and is included on the European Union Cosmetics Directive “Positive List” (Europe has banned more than 1,200 ingredients due to safety concerns). When my girlfriend discovered this it was a game changer. I put it on right after washing my face and it’s faded my dark/red spots and I haven’t had a zit since. Sean T, Naples As There can be a lot of BS in the world of skincare, but I love this brand for keeping their products affordable, irritant-free, and potent – i.e. the main ingredient that is advertised on the label is actually high on the ingredients list – like the prebiotics. I like to apply it on damp skin directly after cleansing to optimize the absorption of whichever serums/moisturizers follow. The change to my skin is apparent with every use – it makes my skin more even in terms of both texture and discoloration. This is one product in a pretty small list of must-haves in my kit! Lauren, NC As This did work for my acne breakouts, I just wish it had more of a perfume smell to it. Jamillae Beverly Hills, FL By far the best acne product I’ve ever used. I’ve tried and failed with lots. This cleared up my mild acne breakouts by the first week. Have kept using it daily so it doesn’t return. Have ordered the clear system. Elija Feuntes It’s not like using an acne treatment. I think this is a premium product. Would prefer it in a tube. Am happy with how my skin looks and feels. M Folkeston / Verified Purchase  My skin-savior! Got acne later in life (ugh!!) and didn’t want to feel like a teenager using benzoyl peroxide, so my derm turned me onto this product which uses prebiotic technology. I can feel it is better for skin and within a week, the acne was gone. I use daily to prevent any breakouts and layer with their Antioxidant Serum.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking medical treatment due to information obtained here. Alcohol denat: produced from the fermentation of organic plant sources (sugar). An effective extracting (solvent) medium for herbal extracts that takes out both water and oil-soluble nutrients. Can also be used as a natural preservative. Salix nigra (black willow) bark extract: a natural source of salicylic acid, a BHA with keratolytic, astringent and regenerative properties. It benefits acne-prone skin due to its pore-clearing, antiseptic, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory nature. Camphor: a white or colorless aromatic wax found in the wood of the camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora). It is known for its long-standing, anti-inflammatory, cooling and wound-healing properties, thus makes it effective against acne. Camphor can also alleviate itching, irritation, pain (produced by skin sores and insect bites) as well as treat minor burns. Gaultheria procumbens (wintergreen) leaf extract: it is a potent astringent, anti-inflammatory and keratolytic agent that helps remove excess sebum, impurities and surface debris. Wintergreen acts as a numbing and pain-relieving agent similar to cortisone. It can ward off infections (bacterial, fungi and viral) and tone the skin and hair. Citric acid: an alpha hydroxy acid found naturally in citrus fruits. Used in our products at very low levels to regulate acidity to match the natural pH of the skin. Permitted food ingredient and by organic certification agencies; it is produced through bacterial fermentation of sugar. Reviews Rebecca Jesser, Montana Insanely creamy lather and the scent is very uplifting. Sidney, Framington MA I used this to also wash my hair because I had read that salt shampoos detox your hair and scalp. This left my scalp and hair really clean and after blowdrying I noticed my hair was much softer and shinier. Michelle Burlington, CA  it’s true! this is a body wash AND shampoo. i bought this because I had read the reviews and tend to buy products that can do many things because I have such a tiny shower lol. i had expected my skin to feel soft afterward, but was really surprised my hair felt soft and when dry seemed shinier. Mom and Lilly I chose this as my free gift to use a baby wash. There is nothing in this for me to worry about when bathing my precious daughter. Just ordered the larger size for me :)

Europe´s conform level with the safety data associated with this permitted preservative is clearly reassuring. Upon application, remain expressionless until thoroughly dry. Fanning over the area helps reduce drying time. Once dry, check areas that you may have missed and lightly reapply. The product, if used correctly should not leave any residues, however, if you have applied too much a slight whiteness may appear. To correct this, gently smudge the excess product with a damp cotton pad. If applying foundation, it is preferable to avoid oil-based makeup. For longer-lasting results, use alone or apply powder make-up TIP - If your under-eye area is particularly dehydrated, apply the tiniest amount of SkinSanity Ageless Eye Repair and ensure it has fully dried before layering the wrinkle serum over the top. You want to avoid using oil-based moisturizers and serums as oil may affect the adhesion of the wrinkle serum to your skin. Sodium silicate: is the sodium salt of silicic acid (mineral derived). In the cosmetic industry, it is used as a buffering, anti-corrosive agent and an antiseptic. Lately it can be found in anti-aging formulas, due to its lifting effect. Rosa damascena (rose) flower extract: its tonic and soothing qualities can help combat inflammation, while its constricting action at the capillary level represents a valuable treatment for broken thread veins. The plant’s petals boast compounds that provide antioxidant and anti-aging benefits Magnesium aluminum silicate: a naturally occurring mineral (complex silicate) refined from purified clay. It is used primarily as a thickener, filler, absorbent, anti-caking and opacifying agent. Clay has been used for centuries to absorb and control excess oil; it is during the drying process that oil and impurities are lifted from the skin and a tightening effect is experienced. The same tightening effect experienced in a face mask is now used to tighten areas of concern such under eyes and forehead. Glycerin: or glycerol, is released when an oil is hydrolyzed, such as during soap-making. A common cosmetic and food ingredient used as a natural humectant and moisturizer. Glycerin is one of the oldest and most respected skin moisturizers. Pullulan: a polysaccharide produced from corn starch by cultivating the yeast Aureobasidium pullulans. Its main use is the manufacture of edible films such as in breath freshener or oral hygiene products. Cosmetics-wise, it is a good binding, film forming and thickening agent. It provides an antioxidant effect as well as an instant lifting (temporary) that improves the overall texture and appearance of the skin. Acetyl hexapeptide-8 (argireline): a synthetic neuropeptide consisting of arginine, methionine and acetylated glutamic acid. It inhibits contraction of muscles through destabilization of the SNARE complex aminoacids (argireline mimics one of them). The result is a muscle-relaxing effect similar to botox, thus reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is also an excellent water-binding (humectant), skin conditioning and cell-communicating ingredient. Cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract: imparts a soothing, cooling, astringent, toning, anti-inflammatory, hydrating, anti-puffiness and revitalizing properties to the skin. Largely composed of of proteins, lipids and Vitamin C, it has been classed as a superfood for skin. Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract: is one of nature´s wonder botanicals thanks to its content of glycyrrhizin, glabridin and liquiritin. Licorice provides anti-inflammatory benefits that mimic cortisol and helps balance sebum production and inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme that triggers melanin production, thus constitutes a safe and more effective alternative to hydroquinone. Caprylyl glycol: a coconut derived emollient, humectant, stabilizing and skin conditioning agent with mild antimicrobial activity. It can also help increase the microbial activity of other preservatives. Citric acid: an alpha hydroxy acid found naturally in citrus fruits. Used at very low levels to help regulate acidity to match the natural pH of the skin. Permitted food ingredient by organic certification agencies; it is produced through bacterial fermentation of sugar. Phenoxyethanol: used at < 0.01% this source is derived primarily from green tea and is produced synthetically by green chemistry principles. Used as a solvent to assist with a temporary lifting effect. Ethylhexylglycerin: is a glyceryl ether made from glycerin used as a weak preservative (in minute amounts), surfactant and skin conditioning agent, or as a carrier/suspending agent for other preservatives such as phenoxyethanol. Propylene glycol: derived from vegetable sources. The European supplier we source it from use a catalytic process called hydrogenolysis which converts vegetable glycerin into vegetable propylene glycol. The < 0.01% addition of vegetable propylene glycol helps to effectively retain the moisture content of skin during the lifting process. Reviews Yves, MA  Ever since reading about double-cleansing, I’ve started using the Remove All followed by this. Wasn’t sure at first if it made any difference but after the second day I noticed how brighter my skin looked and smoother it felt. F Nguyen TX Am reading about double cleansing lately and from the other review. I used Derm #1 Skincare Remove All Cleanser followed by this. I think it made a difference because my boyfriend said my skin looked clearer. I’ve been keeping it up since. Doesn’t bother me it takes a few extra minutes.

Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter: an effective emollient and smoother; has natural antioxidant properties as well as a small quantity of allantoin which is renowned for its healing qualities. It is also said to protect the skin against external aggressions and sunrays. Glycerin: or glycerol, is released when an oil is hydrolysed, such as during soapmaking. A common cosmetic and food ingredient used as a natural humectant and moisturiser. Glycerin is one of the oldest and most respected skin moisturisers. Glycerin is listed in all of the major pharmacopoeias and is used extensively for the treatment of the skin. Our glycerin is produced from GMO-free Karanja nut oil. Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed oil: derived from the cacao bean, deeply nourishes and moisturizes the skin. It contains high concentrations of antioxidants and fatty acids that protect the skin against free radicals and leave it soft and supple. Cocoa oil can improve inflammatory conditions such as eczema and it has been reported to reduce scars including stretch marks. Sucrose stearate: a monoester of stearic acid (non-GMO coconut) and sucrose (sugar). It is an emulsifier, emollient, skin conditioning agent and mild surfactant. Prunus amygdalus dulcis (almond) oil: is beneficial for all skin types, especially dry skin conditions. Contains beneficial fatty acids, vitamins A, E and several B vitamins. It is a light, easily absorbed oil best known for its excellent emollient, soothing, re-conditioning and nourishing properties. Citric acid: an alpha hydroxy acid found naturally in citrus fruits. Used in our products at very low levels to regulate acidity to match the natural pH of the skin. Permitted food ingredient and by organic certification agencies; it is produced through bacterial fermentation of sugar. J Wilde, Santa Cruz, CACrazy creamy. My skin drinks this in. It removes makeup really well. Jamilla, CA Very creamy with a light aroma of honey. Removes all of my makeup including waterproof mascara. Don’t need to moisturize after and it leaves skin very soft. Heather Fooks, Portland OR I have very sensitive acne-prone skin and this cleanser has improved my skin so much. Follow directions and apply to dry skin, add water to face, and then use a damp warm cloth to fully remove. It’s like a spa experience every time I wash my face. It smells so good of natural honey. It reduces and heals any acne that pops up very quickly. It will make your skin feel super soft, and has healed some dry patches that nothing was fixing. It’s worth the price to me! Will continue purchasing!! Jeanette Yukon, OK I have never tried a cleansing cream like this. It wasn’t too thick to apply, I would say it was silkier than thick and did a great job of removing all the makeup! I have normal to dry skin. No residue! Jilly, FLI use this product as the first step in my double cleansing routine and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. It’s very gentle, doesn’t contain any nasty chemicals and the scent is lovely! Sue, Northumberland, PASoooo very moisturizing and erases any drop of makeup. Works sooooo well, I really love this. Trish, Spokane Got this as a birthday present and oh my does it feel nice. It takes off every spot of makeup to the point I really don’t need to double cleanse, love it. Shakira, IN I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and the occasional dry spots on my cheeks. My skin is also very sensitive, I have eczema and I am sensitive to scents. The first time I used this I thought to myself, I am sending it back. It was completely different than anything I have used before and it felt way too good to be actually cleaning my skin. I felt my face an hour or so later and couldn’t believe how smooth it felt. I immediately checked in the mirror because I was sure it was going to be an oily disaster, but it was beautiful. I have never been the one to have beautiful skin or get compliments. I started using this daily with a light moisturizer and I have never been happier with my skin. I would recommend this to anyone. Just follow the directions and you will not be disappointed! Oh, I almost forgot… the scent is incredibly light and natural. Robyn, Fresno, CAI definitely love this cleanser. It’s a gentle and thorough cleanse and makes my skin super soft and supple. I have extremely sensitive product skin and this did not break me out. Eloise W, St. Petersburg, FL Very luxe, quality product. Leaves skin extremely smooth and soft. Ruth D, KY My skin was showing fine lines which I suspected was due to dryness from an acne treatment from Roden & Fields. I started using this cleanser in the evenings and have seen an improvement in my skin’s moisture and texture. It also seems to help with redness. I really like this cleanser and will buy it again. Trace, NY I have tried countless cleansers, lotions, scrubs, foams, any type of acne product to make the hormonal acne disappear, so you can imagine any product causes a spark of skepticism deep down. I almost didn’t buy this product but bought it anyway seeing the miracles that manuka honey performs. Let me tell you that this was one of the best investments I have ever made in my young adult life. I have been to dermatologists and wanted a more homeopathic approach to curing the problem. Look no further than this cleanser! I bought it with the Dual Action Serum and haven’t had a breakout since I’ve used it. I am so relieved to finally have found something THAT WORKS!!! I highly recommend and will buy again 100% Dawn JL, Denver I have used a variety of different cleansers over the years, but don’t see myself buying anything else except this creamy honey cleanser from here on out. it has a super soothing scent, feels really rich, and breaks down dirt and makeup with ease. You only need a little bit of product for your whole face so I know this tube will last me a long time. It emulsifies beautifully when you add water, and after you dry off your face feels clean and hydrated. This product is the highlight of my nighttime skincare routine! Ella What’s not to love? It’s everything you’d want in a dreamy creamy cleanser – and more! Pat My skincare routine is just not the same without this cleanser. I buy 2 every 6 weeks because I also use it in the shower on my body. Can you think about making a bigger size? 🙂

Every product in this regimen contains our invention, a patented Prebiotic Active Technology extract and manufacturing method. Ours is a better alternative to brands that use benzoyl peroxide, which has been shown to cause dry, flaky, or burning sensations as reported by the FDA and many dermatologists.  The secret is our very own patented prebiotic extract and method, which is made from a certain species of blackcurrant and pine needle, because of this, our revolutionary serum has a beautiful darkish amber color. Our extract is also used in the Detox Cleanser, and the Zapper which is designed to be used anytime during the day to calm and blast those zits. All our clean beauty products are vegan, cruelty-free, made with organic and natural ingredients, gluten-free, and great for the environment. Three products are included in this money-saving regimen. How to use Must use morning and night for 60-90 days and continue use to keep at bay. Each regimen lasts about 4 weeks. Step 1 – Detoxifying Cleanser - Only use on makeup-free skin Step 2 – Dual Action Serum - Apply as needed Step 3 – Zapper - use any time of the day or night for touch-ups   FAQ Q: How long before I start seeing results? The American Academy of Dermatology recommends sticking to acne treatment for up to 10 weeks because acne is one of the most difficult skin disorders to treat. So, be patient and persevere. Keep in mind during this process it is completely normal to experience a few extra breakouts as part of the die-off effect. If you do not notice any improvement after 10 weeks, please contact us for support. Q: Can I use other products with these? No, we recommend you discontinue other treatments as ingredients like benzoyl peroxide will interfere with the prebiotic action of this formula. Reviews Katie, Los Gatos  I like this system because I don’t use moisturizer. It’s keeping my skin clear and I haven’t had any breakouts since using them. Kendal S Long Island  Nice product collection. I like using this in the mornings and add a little moisturizer at night from another brand. No breakouts after the first week so will probably order more when I run low.

Active Ingredients: Zinc oxide (7.44%): is a white/yellowish inorganic oxide that is insoluble in water. This compound occurs in nature as zincite, though most of the commercially used zinc oxide is produced synthetically. It has been recognized by the FDA as a safe ingredient due to the fact that it remains on the skin´s surface it does not cause allergies and /or irritations. Titanium dioxide (3.015%): a white, water-insoluble, opaque powder which occurs in nature. Inactive Ingredients: Aqua (water): water in Latin, is the word used in the INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) to label this vital element. Sun Protection Measures Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF of 15, or higher and other sun protection measures including: - Reapply at least every 2 hours - Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming, or sweating - Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. — 2 p.m. - Wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses - Children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor Disclaimer These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Glossary Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice freeze-dried powder: has the ability to effectively penetrate and transport healthy substances through the skin. Sodium benzoate: is the sodium salt of benzoic acid; a preservative approved for use worldwide and is included on the European Union Cosmetics Directive “Positive List” (Europe has banned more than 1,200 ingredients due to safety concerns). Reviews L Casals –  Took this to Hawaii with me when my husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and it worked like a dream – for the both of us. None of that typical ‘sunscreen’ fragrance which makes us feel sick. It didn’t just keep our skin from burning, but the antioxidants also offered a second layer of protection which I understand is from the free radicals in the environment. We didn’t use a lot because it’s concentrated a nice benefit because you don’t need to keep buying it. L Casals, Wyoming sharon  It has a lovely silky texture. I blend this with my serum and it goes on a dream. No white residue and NO chemicals. Yay!Sharon, AR Kelly, NYA lovely facial SPF that hasn’t let me down yet. I blend it with the Antioxidant Serum and have been telling everyone how it feels on my skin. Worth the money considering the quality ingredients and the fact that it does as it says. Barbara Emsil, KS This moisturizer is very creamy and doesn’t leave any white residue on my face. I blend with a drop of the Antioxidant Serum and love how it feels on my face. I would recommend this to anyone who wants natural sun protection versus the chemical ones. Amie / Verified Purchase This is definitely a clean SPF and having put it through its paces this Summer on myself and our baby, it does as it says. I gave it 4 stars because I’d prefer it in a tube. It would be easier to carry and use.
